a friend loves @ all times…real friends are not easy to come by. They are out there…but even the best ones are not perfect. doesn’t matter whether you are 15 or 75, we all want and need close relationships that accept us for who we are. Growing up, I remember having some of the feelings you describe…although I was a lot less confident than you are. I was shy to the core. it sucked. I felt like the ugly duckling from the story..have you read that one lately? (if not, it’s was written by hans christian anderson…look it up on a search engine..it only takes a couple of minutes to read, but it has a great message. The ugly duckling turns out to be a swan :-)..couldn’t fit in w/ the other little ducks because it wasn’t a duck in the first place! I hope you will find a person or two who will accept you for who you are period, because you are also a swan. All it takes is for one person to believe in you!
